Yoga Nidra meditation is “yogic sleep.”

Tantra is an ancient Eastern spiritual science using various techniques to merge with infinite consciousness and liberate primal energy. In each session, special attention will be given to one chakra starting with the Root Chakra.

Qoya is a sacred movement practice based on the idea that through movement we remember. We remember our essence is wise, wild and free. Wise, wild and free also draw reference to the movement forms we practice like yoga and the creative expression of dance. Movement is an effective way to tap into your body's wisdom.
Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a conscious relaxation and meditation technique. The practice of Yoga Nidra can help you feel more connected to yourself and your true nature. It is regarded as tantric practice. The sound and vibration of Himalayan Healing Bowls will deepen your experience as you are guided through each Chakra in the meditation.
What to bring?
Bring a water bottle, yoga mat, light blanket (optional) and an open heart. Wear comfortable clothes to move and rest in.
Seating is limited to a maximum of 13, so please register early.

This special event will harness the energy of the Full Moon in Cancer for deep emotional healing through the Swadisthan Chakra (Sacral). We will dive deep into expanding our knowledge of the Sacral Chakra and the connection to our well-being, creativity and fertility. Through the practice of Qoya we will connect with the body and through the ancient practice of Pranayama (Breathing) we will connect deeper with the mind. The class will close with a guided Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) accompanied by the healing sounds of Himalayan Singing bowls to deepen your connection to your inner and higher consciousness. The class is open to everyone. We suggest wearing something orange on your body. Register early, as seating is limited.
What to bring: yoga mat, pillow, blanket, water and eye mask or eye pillow.
Cost: $50 per person

I began practicing asana (physical postures) in 2010 and meditation in 2013. Through these practices I’ve increased my physical awareness, mind-body connection, and sense of self. I’ve fallen in love with learning the yogic lifestyle and have come to know my dharma (sacred duty).
It is my wish to share with you my knowledge and wisdom and to tell you that, you can do yoga!
I started practicing yoga with Cristina in 2010 and I love her teaching style! Cristina offers a detailed asana instruction to both the individual and the group during her classes to offer a safe and mindful yoga practice. Her knowledge and love of movement are evident as she encourages each student to explore their practice and offers modifications to suit every body. I am grateful for the compassionate, caring instruction Cristina has provided me.
