Sun in Cancer ~ 2018. Owl in the belly, wide open to the world. Season of blossoming and watering nourishment from a common bowl, a 'Dish with One Spoon'. Practice a wide-legged and externally rotated stance with knees bent, anchoring heels and ischia. From there, side bends, open the armpits, dance the arms and fingers, broaden the collarbones, resound the ribcage.
Sun in Cancer/Moon from Pisces toward Cancer new moon, 2018. Shads in North Bay. Season of Faeries. Practice locust postures, anchoring the heart toward being delicate & selfless blessings to the world. The wings of the shoulderbladses, arms and fingers fold onto and into each other at the back. Roll open the armpit-chest. It is like a baby's first lift of the head and senses from lying flat on the belly, imprinting the cervical and lumbar arcs into the spine, and also our environment into our minds. Stream the heart forward into the world, allow the legs and toes to ride the wake.
